Workshops

Wreaths aren't just for Christmas! Have you noticed how they are popping up on doors all year around?

Why not adorn your front door throughout the year with a Valentines, Easter, Halloween, autumnal or Christmas wreath?

Come along and lose yourself in the creativity of making your very own door wreath at one of my friendly workshops, now running throughout the year.

Sign up for my free newsletter to be kept informed when new workshop dates are available, usually in a local hall near where I live in Roborough.

I need a minimum of 8 people and a maximum of 15 to run a workshop, and this usually comprises individuals or a group of friends or work colleagues.

It's a favourite mother and daughter treat!

Cost is £40 per workshop and you can book on line.

Workshops last about 3 hours. All materials required are set up and ready before you arrive. I demonstrate each stage of the process and then come around and help anyone that needs it.

I never rush a group; its a session for you to enjoy and my aim is for you to have had a thoroughly fun and relaxing experience.

The cost includes complimentary refreshments served halfway through.

Easter wreaths

Covid didn't put a stop to an Easter wreath workshop. I zoom called my neighbours and taught them how to create their wreaths via video tuition!

Groupings of yellow roses which pick out the varigated foliage within the wreath, topped off with a raffia bow.

An easy to make Easter door wreath which includes, tree ivy, varigated eunonymous and pittosporum. Contorted twigs add texture and movement with yellow roses and daffodils adding a pop of colour.

Hot cross buns, chocolate eggs and biscuits served at the midway point.

Autumn wreaths

Autumanal colours for this heart wreath to hang on your door. Orange and yellow toned roses and spray carnations, yellow scented freesia, red skimmea berries and a variety of foliage. A little trickier to make, ensuring the shape of the heart is kept.
To create this rustic autumnal wreath I used hydrangea flowers, green skimmea berries, trailing ivy, contorted willow, seed heads, catkins and garden foliage.

Halloween

Spiders, bats, bracken, tree ivy, red berries, seed heads, conifer, and spruce for this scary display!
Spooky halloween colours, orange roses, red crysanthemums, purple verbena, pink sweet william and ghostly white spray carnations.

What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than getting some family, friends, or work colleagues together to create your own bespoke door wreath.

I provide all the materials required, and demonstrate each stage of the process and then help if needed.  Stopping halfway way through for a mince pie and mulled wine before finishing your design and accessorising it with ribbon and seasonal materials.

Its such a fun, relaxing and creative experience, I have repeat customers coming back each year.

This group of work colleagues were thrilled with their results. Baubles, "Merry Christmas" wooden tags, sparkly ribbon and traditional accessories made each of the wreaths individual.
